A big part of DesignShifts was born out of the idea that no one knows it all but together we know a lot. We love collaborating with others practitioners who are interested in Shifting perspectives, processes, power, postures, and the purpose of design.

Our work centers on design, but naturally extends into research, ecology, anthropology, social sciences, economies, cultures, and inclusion. We believe borders are fluid—there are no firm lines where one topic ends and another begins. The most valuable insights emerge at the crossroads and intersections of ideas. We believe meaningful change happens when ideas, disciplines, and people come together. By exploring intersections, we uncover new possibilities, challenge assumptions, and create spaces for learning, making, and connecting.
